Your Net-ID is encrypted, and can only be unlocked on the NetIDme website which is secured with SSL. Only the person you want to view your Net-ID can unlock it as they must enter their nickname and password to do so. NetIDme reduces the risk of being targeted by Internet predators or bullies by providing you with a tool to identify who you are chatting to online.
