How safe is internet Banking and Shopping?
Despite what you may have heard it is relatively safe, in fact it’s probably safer that handing your credit card over to someone you don’t know. Just make sure all your security software is in place and up to date. It wouldn’t hurt to run your Antispyware software just before you start your banking or buying to make sure any spyware is removed first. We recommend however that if you are going to use internet banking or shopping that take out a debit card with no overdraft feature and transfer over only the funds you are lightly to use. This way, in the un-lightly event you are unfortunate enough to get caught it isn’t your main account that gets used.
