How safe is fluocinonide 0.025% to a 3-month old baby having mild facial rashes?
Since the prescription is short term use of only 3 days and this seems a low enough dosage, I’d say it’s likely not harmful to do that for this brief. I’d caution though that eczema is not a one time thing. My daughter had this when she was a baby and got it again in a flare up in the same spot when an adult now. I got her some dermarest brand otc ointment that cleared it up within a day or 2 using that.Babies are trickier to use stuff on , they touch their face with their fingers as they use those hands a lot to explore I’ve seen in raising mine, but I would just use a TINY bit of it and should be ok. Before having to re use in the future if your child redevelops this or has a flare up, I’d go to a medical site such as www.webmd.com or www.mayoclinic.com or even google just to see if this is alright to use repeatedly on an infant.
