How safe is Face Painting?
While a less experienced amateur Face Painter may not be familiar with professional Face Painting supplies (and instead use toxic craft paints and metallic glitters that are not intended for use on children’s faces and may cause irritation or allergic reactions), Susan uses ONLY FDA-approved, non-toxic, cosmetic-grade products and safe polyester glitters. Susan NEVER uses acrylic craft paints or metallic glitters on anyone’s skin! Furthermore, as a Texas and Arkansas state licensed Massage Therapist, Susan has undergone criminal background checks conducted by both The Department of Homeland Security and The Arkansas State Police. As a massage therapist, she is also familiar with universal precautions and takes hygienic practices very seriously.
