How Safe are the Facades of the Buildings in Chicago?
Some building facades in Chicago have weakened, and portions have dislodged, creating a hazard to the public below. A Facade Ordinance was created in 1986 to protect public safety, but frequent changes have weakened the ordinance. Engineer Jay H.
