How rugged is the fiber cable?
5.0 mm flexible stainless steel protective jacket provides all round protection for the fiber and is by far the most commonly used configuration. It provides excellent protection to both crush and strain along the fiber length and prevents bending of the fiber below its recommended minimum bend radius. 3.0 mm flexible stainless steel jacket is also available where space is a consideration.
