How robust is the S7?
Very! Apart from being rated to survive a 1 metre drop onto a wooden floor, it just feels well built. The hinges are sturdy and the case is solid plastic with no small or loose parts likely to snap off. There are no problems with the keyboard and the mechanism that holds the pen has a button that ejects it so there shouldn’t be any sticky pen complaints. The keyboard mechanism is intricate but sturdy enough to last countless thousands of key presses if not more and the various parts that go together to make the case are all aligned well and are securely in place. There is no creaking when you open or close the Series 7.
