BOROFLOAT® 33 is very heat resistant with a long-term (= 10 h) temperature loading capacity of 450 °C and a short-term ( Because of its low thermal expansion it can easily withstand thermal shocks of 125 K – 175 K (depending on the glass thickness) and temperature differences of 90 K (1 – 100 h) and 80 K (> 100 h) respectively.
