Ms. I don’t want to discourage you but, I bought my wife a 02 FreeLander and we haven’t driven the vehicle a straight 30 days, it’s in the shop right now getting a new engine under warranty. If I could get rid of this vehicle I would. I’ve heard nothing but, negative things about the Freelander. I’m really not a fan of Land Rover period, I had to fight them with nail and tooth just for them to honor the warranty. I have 46000 miles, I’m the second owner. The first owner traded it in at 43000 miles with alot of Service issues that were just brought to my attention. Good Luck!
