How relevant and important are the “General Education” components?
The first two years of the degree program provides students with the General Education components. The underlying for the American system is to “mould” their graduates to be not just “experts” in their specialization but also aware of their surroundings/world/society”. US Education believes in producing graduates who are well- rounded and is equipped with the skills to be in most work environment. The General Education components teach students application and analytical skills.
