How Quickly is Graffiti Removed?
The response time may vary by a few days either way, depending on when the request for removal is placed. However, on the average, it takes three working days or less for graffiti to be removed once it has been reported. If you notice it has been over three days and the graffiti is still there, please call the graffiti hotline to let us know. It may be that the graffiti technician could not locate or access the graffiti, or perhaps the same location was graffitied again. Although much of the technician’s work is based on citizens’ requests for service, he also removes graffiti he observes while traveling between graffiti sites. Quick Response If you report graffiti that is profane or a racial slur, the Maintenance Services Department makes a special effort to remove it the same day the request is placed. If the request is made after hours, it will be handled promptly on the following business day.
