In most cases, the speed of the process depends on the physician. Since Illinois Department of Public Health mandates that all admissions have a History and Physical within 120 days of admission, the process can be delayed if you haven’t had a recent appointment. If you’ve had a recent physical, or were in the hospital or a rehab center, most times we can retrieve the information from those sources. Once a History and Physical has been secured, the admission process can take place in less than 24 hours.
