How quickly can an auction sale be organized and implemented?
We have done some with only a week or two notice, but most of the time we need a few weeks to properly organize and photograph key items, advertise thoroughly and give the complete sale our undivided attention. A short notice sale usually is held on a weekday, as most weekends are booked by clients several weeks in advance. We try to NOT hold auctions on a Sunday, out of respect for those who hold that day for religious services.
