Once the account has qualified for an alert, an attempt will be made to contact you immediately for monetary based events. Monetary based alerts include International transactions, High-Dollar transactions, Cash Advance transactions, and Internet transactions. Alerts for event based transactions which include Change of Address requests, PIN requests, New Card requests, the addition of an authorized user and Balance Transfer request, are generally delivered to you within 24-hours, however this may take up to 48-hours during weekends. It is important to note that Chase Fraud Detector WILL NOT prevent you from using your account. Chase Fraud Detector will not prevent a transaction from being processed and it will not cause you to have a transaction declined.
