Overall SUV sales, in a time of war, were up six percent in 2002. With slogans like “Keep America rolling,” Detroit is offering no down payments or finance charges on many SUV models. GM, for instance, enhanced its “Zero, Zero, Zero” program in December by offering no-interest financing on 13 SUVs for up to 60 months.
