How pure is the silver used to make the fingerprint?

0

The fingerprint jewellery I create is 99.9% pure silver (fine silver) and has a higher purity than sterling silver, which is only 92.5% pure due to the silver being mixed with other metals / alloys to make it harder. Due to its high purity, fine silver is softer and, therefore more susceptible to scratches if knocked. All jewellery findings and fittings (e.g. chains and cufflink fittings) are sterling silver unless otherwise stated.
