How provides a stream to my FreeCast network ?
A lot of applications can help you to provide a stream to your FreeCast network: Ices Darkice Oddcast (windows) VLC media player (video, available for windows) Flumotion (video) Icecast2 Ezstream According to the application, the FreeCast root node will: receive the stream directly (with ices, darkice or oddsock for instance), in this case use a ‘shoutserver receiver’, have to retrieve the stream from a given url (with vlc, flumotion or icecast2 for instance), in this case use a ‘shoutclient receiver’.
