How private is the space for the ceremony and reception?
Extremely private. Our property is a 23-acre private, wooded estate. We are not in a commercially zoned area and we are situated ΒΌ mile off of a very quiet residential road. We are located about 10 minutes by car from Stowe Village. The Lodge is located at 3233 Elmore Mountain Road, a residential road that winds through a more rural area of Stowe offering fantastic views of Mt. Mansfield, Elmore Mountain and local working farm land and pasture land. It is very lovely! Privacy is our goal here at Stowe Meadows. We want to provide a relaxing, tranquil setting. Guests enjoy walking and hiking on our property, they swim in our private pond in the summer and enjoy the sound of our natural streams that flow on the property in spring and summer. We are in the process of cutting new walking trails and adding more outdoor and forest lighting on the property. These trails will open even more of our natural beauty to be enjoyed exclusively by our guests.
