How practical is it to heat a pool?
Provided there is a way to hold the heat in via a cover or solar blanket, a heater is ideal for adding a few extra weeks at the beginning and end of the pool season. Most people want the pool water to be about 80 degrees regardless of the outside temperature. However, it’s doubtful anyone will want to swim when it’s 30 degrees. Of course, you can use your spa practically all winter (at about 100 degrees).
