How portable is the Small Italian Harpsichord?

0

I’m not particularly strong or huge, but here I am carrying the Small Italian harpsichord out to my car. Why is it so light? For one thing, it is small – less than six feet in length, about 32 inches wide, and about six inches high. Perhaps more significant is the fact that it is made almost entirely of cedar: the bottom is western red cedar, the case walls and most of the internal structure is cedar of Lebanon, and the soundboard is either cedar of Lebanon or Alaskan yellow cedar. If you are inclined to take your harpsichord with you, this is the harpsichord to take.
