A river trip through the Grand Canyon is a physically active trip and you may find yourself participating in activities such as loading and unloading boats, setting up and tearing down camp, hiking side canyons and paddling through the rapids (hybrid or paddle trips only). It can also be physically challenging adjusting to the environmental factors you will encounter such as wind, sun, sand, water, elevation, cold and heat.
