How painful is paintball, really?
Paintball is a lot more fun than it is painful. That’s why there are over ten million people playing in the U.S. alone and over two million of those are women. Most people say it feels like getting pinched. Sometimes it can hurt more than that depending on where you get hit and how close the person is that shot you. That’s why it is safer to play paintball at a park. At a park there are ref’s who enforce the rules so you are far less likely to get shot at close distances or repeatedly, or with a marker that is shooting balls too fast, or with poor quality paint. All of the things that tend to make paintball painful. At a park you have a lot of things going for you. You have good quality paint so that it breaks on impact and is not so painful, and you have the availability of armor so if you are real concerned about pain you can minimize it even more or completely eliminate it.
