How oxygen is liquified?

0

Well there are few ways to do it. But basically, the principle is on this equation: PV/T = constant At room temperature, oxygen is gaseous, u can liquify it just by decreasing the temperature. It will liquify at its melting temperature. To ease the work( no need to decrease the temperature so much), u can increase the pressure or decrease the volume of the container so that it will be easier to liquify it. because by increasing the pressure and decreasing the volume, u r trying to capture the molecule of the O2 gases together, hence it will be easier to order them together.
