How open are other countries in Africa to South Africa becoming a training hub for the continent?
Aside from the standard of training we can offer, the low cost is appealing to foreign customers. Africa has a massive requirement for training and we compete very favourably with the rest of the world. Since 1994 there hasnt been a single country in Africa that has not encouraged South Africa to come and do business with it in the aviation industry. Africas transport infrastructure is non-existent in many areas and aviation is often the only answer to the transport problem. The private air-travel industry appears to be very competitive.
