How on earth does anyone stay with Mediacom?
I am a 2 year customer of Dish Network and Verizon phone and DSL. We switched to Mediacom trying to save money. We’ve had Mediacom for a week, and the internet works only about half the time. The cable was surprisingly good quality, but the DVR’s interface is a nightmare compared to Dish’s. The interface is clunky and hard to get used to, and don’t even think about only recording new shows of a program, it’ll record them all anyway. I’ve gotten used to being able to hide channels on Dish’s DVR, with Mediacom you can make a “favorite’s list”, but every time you go into the guide, you must press another button to only show your favorites. And price… OMG!!! If it wasn’t for the discount on services, we would be paying upwards of $160 a month for the same things we were getting before for about $110 to $120. Do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere. Recommended: No Amount Paid (US$): 95.
