Some pros began their professional career at a very tender age(mostly during their teenage years 15-17)and start their domination of the game in their early 20’s for example Roger Federer at 17,Rafael Nadal at 15 and Pete Sampras at 16. They all started at a very young age. But if your talking bout when they started playing well all of them started playing at a very early age during their childhood (5-10 at least).
