How old must a child be to start climbing with TCI?
Five years old. A child aged five and up will find tree climbing one of the most rewarding things they can do outdoors. Some of the youngest children will have trouble with this activity, however. They may be unable to coordinate well enough to work the climbing system, or their attention span may be too short to be able to follow directions. We will spend as much time as we can with a child to help him or her along, or we may just decide to swing the child for a few minutes. That usually provokes alot of laughter and dissipates any frustration that may have built up. By the time they are age six or seven, almost all children can perform this activity themselves without much help.
