How old is the oldest type 1 diabetic to live?I’m a type 1 and im just wondering. A: Insulin wasn’t discovered until 1921 and not readily available till several years later. We do not yet have 100 years of research on the subject. The people who say they know people close to 100 who are great probably didn’t get type 1 till later in life. You can get it at any time. The options are open and endless. Let’s bash some records !
