How old is lennie in of mice and men?
Someone who’s read the work more recently may have a chronological age, but I don’t think Steinbeck says (but I haven’t reread it in years). Lennie is an adult male working the fields with a dream and a best buddy that he trusts completely. That descripiton puts him in his 20s or 30s, most likely, and actors who have portrayed him have generally portrayed someone in his 20s or 30s. Of course, Lennie’s actions indicate that he has the mental age of a young child, probably 4-6 years old. I hope this helps!
