How old is an austilian cattle dog puppy when there ears start to stand up?
well that is hard to say specifically. I got 2 of them myself, one has kind of floppy ears, and the other has ears like a fox. The older one with floppy ears is approx 2 years old, and the younger one is 6 months behind him. In my personal dealings with these dogs specifically, i have noticed genetic traits take over, and this will determine if the ear is floppy or straight up and down. The one with fox like ears is a strange Ausie cattle dog, but my older ones ears fell in about 2 months of me having him, and i got him at 6 weeks old.
