To take the exam you should be at least 14 years old and not have Swedish as your mother tongue. Persons not yet 14 years of age who have special circumstances may also be eligible to take the Swedex exam. Your Swedex examination centre should apply to Swedex’s administrative partner, Landesverband der Volkshochschulen Niedersachens for an exemption.
