How old do I have to be to play in a WAA Airsoft game?
Because of safety requirements, all players at WAA games must be at least 15 years of age. All players 15, 16 and 17 years of age must have attended a WAA Airsoft Evaluation Course. Also be aware that age restrictions are subject to change on a per game basis, based on the requirements of the owners of the playing field. Actually we are applying the same thinking that the State of Wisconsin uses for allowing people to hunt with real steel. As with the state where you must pass a course BEFORE you can hunt, so as it is with Airsoft. Right now we developed the age rules for the general protection of the land owner. Of course, if you have your own land to play on you may select to waive any such age rule, but I would discuss this with your insurance agent BEFORE making such an assumption.
