How often will proposals be sought?
Proposals for projects under the Innovation Fund can be submitted at any time by panel members. DEEWR may also seek submissions for particular projects from all or specific panel members depending on the project requirements and the panel members’ knowledge, experience and capability to undertake those projects. Two funding rounds have also been conducted and the results of these rounds are available on the Innovation Fund page. A call for general submissions under Round Three of the Innovation Fund opened on 9 July 2010. This call closed on 30 August 2010 at 4.30pm AEST. A specific call for project proposals to assist people with disability, focusing on open and integrated employment opportunities, opened on Friday 19 November 2010. The closing date for electronic submissions is Wednesday 22 December 2010 at 4.30pm AEDT (Eastern Daylight Savings Time). Hard copies must be posted to the Department by Monday 10 January 2011.
