How often will Liferay Portal EE versions be released?

The EE release cycle will be less frequent than the SE. However, each enterprise version will be supported for a number of years with bug fixes backported to your version for the life of your subscription. Please see the EOSL Policy page for a detailed description. An EE version of each release will be made available roughly four months after each SE release. For example, if Liferay Portal SE 5.2 is released on 1/1/2009, Liferay Portal EE 5.2 will be released around 5/1/2009.
