Running and Walking Friends If you were watching News10Now last week, you may have seen a story about the Salvation Army food pantry and how it has run completely bare. You can read that story here. For the past two weeks we have been collecting food for the Salvation Army at Fleet Feet Sports. We will be continuing to collect through the Jingle Bell Run and will continue to offer a coupon for $5 off any pair of in-stock shoes when you make a donation. Last year we donated a full SUV of food but at this point we are slightly behind last year’s levels. If our readers could all just donate one non-perishable food item, we could help restock the Salvation Army food pantry. We will be concluding our collection at the Jingle Bell Run on Sunday, where we hope to fill a Ryder cargo van with food, which we will deliver to the Salvation Army on Monday morning.
