How often should I use weed and feed?
It depends on what type of grass you have. Here’s what we did: (1) With regular bermuda grass (in Austin- same climate), we used Weed and Feed once every 4-6 weeks which did great. (2) This winter, we seeded Rye Grass and it didn’t grow until after our firss Weed and Feed about a month ago- now we have to mow our “Chia grass” every other day. Moral of the story: if you have regular grass, once a month will do. Seed Rye Grass and don’t do it at all!!! The timing really gears around the rain or you watering it. The bag gives specific instructions and that is truly the best source (OR ask your Home Depot/Lowe’s guy- they seem to know everything).
