How often should I be breastfeeding now my LO has started weaning?

You shouldn’t really be breastfeeding her any less, or at least much less. At that age my dd ate nursed about 6 times total – about every 3- 3 1/2 hours during the day and once at night. Every 3-4 hours during the day is typical for this age, and once at night is at well. I have to say your baby is eating more solids than most babies I know at 5 months. Not that that is bad, as long as you are nursing first (or up to an hour beforehand) so she gets enough milk before filling up on solids. But my dd only at one meal of about 3 ice cubes at that age, and several babies we know were on a similar amount of solids (she is now eating a similar amount to your dd but she is 8 months now). not that that makes what I did right for your baby! Just that, like you said, most of her nutrients are still in your milk, and you want her to get enough of that. The AAP recommends 24-37 oz of milk for that age, not that you can measure when you nurse, but just to emphasize that babies still need quite a lot
