How often should employees receive blood-borne pathogens training?

0

The ORM Loss Prevention Unit recommends that all agencies implement training in its blood-borne pathogens program at the time of employment (i.e., within 12 months for low-risk employees; within 3 months for high-risk) for all newly hired employees. In addition, all employees determined by the agency to be “high-risk” should be provided annual refresher training (once every five years for low-risk employees).
