How often is material updated?
The site grows and changes daily. Menus are updated once every two weeks for members. Wine lists are updated once a month. Facts are checked monthly. We put a date on everything that gets updated so journalists will know when things were last updated. Sometimes, as any jouralist knows, it is hard to get menus from restaurants. It is for us, too. So, we’ve instituted a policy whereby a member’s dossier is dismantled if we can’t get a menu within seven days. We do that to ensure that when the media visit the site, it is accurate and up to date. We rely on that trust to keep our traffic up and make sure that the media doesn’t give up on us. As soon as we get that menu, the site is reinstated.
