How often does Travelocity update weather forecasts?
Travelocity gets its weather information from WeatherLabs. WeatherLabs provides us with weather conditions and forecasts for thousands of cities worldwide, based on constantly updated reports from weather stations around the globe. Additional data is obtained from the National Weather Service, computer-modeled forecasts, and WeatherLabs’ veteran meteorologists. The Current Conditions reports are updated each hour. The Detailed Forecasts, updated twice daily, provide morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight conditions. In addition, we provide five-day forecasts for domestic cities and three-day forecasts for foreign cities; these are also updated twice daily.
