How often does the biosafety cabinet in my laboratory need to be certified?
Biosafety cabinets must be certified at least annually, although some grants specify that certifications must be completed more frequently. Biosafety cabinets must also be recertified when they are relocated within the laboratory or moved to a different laboratory.
