How often do we need to have our Instructors repeat the training and will Industrial Truck Safety notify our company when it is time to re-certify?
There is currently no required standard for re-certification of forklift safety instructors. We do, however, suggest that individuals who take the Forklift Safety Instruction and Presentation Program consider attending the program every two or three years to update their own training, enhance their own company training programs, and keep current with materials and regulations concerning forklift safety and knowledge. Our programs constantly evolve and are updated to stay current with changes in industry and government policy and statistics. The program for instructors is being constantly improved and revised to keep our clients up to date.
