How often do the transmitters transmit pressure and temperature information?
The transmitters transmit data as soon as the vehicle starts moving. Then they transmit every 4-7.5 minutes randomly. The transmitters read pressure every 7 seconds and if the pressure differs from the last transmitted pressure by more than 3 PSI then the pressure is transmitted immediately. The sensors read temperature every 7 seconds however they will only transmit immediately if the temperature goes above 80 degrees C/176 degrees F.
