How often do refuse containers have to be emptied?
• The frequency of collection shall be in accordance with regulations of the collection agency but not less than that shown in the below schedule: • Garbage only – twice weekly • Refuse with garbage – twice weekly • Rubbish and ashes – as often as necessary to prevent nuisances and fly breeding Any variance from the required frequency of collection must be reviewed and approved by the Solid Waste Program.
