How often do Nascar drivers test their cars on the race tracks?

NASCAR regulates the testing! They are only allowed six track tests now. http://www.nascar.com/2006/news/headline… There are definately loop-holes. Hopefully the article will help you out. They do have practice each race weekend generally 1 or 2 practices before qualifying, and then happy hour the next day or the 2nd of the two practices and happy hour (the last practice session.) There are a few impound races. I believe Daytona, Talladega, and Richmond are the only ones where you race what you qualify and there can be no more changes to the car after qualifying. The cars are locked up and only air pressure, oil, and fluid changes can be made. If you make any other changes you start at the back of the field. Hope this helps!!!!
