How often do I need to complete a health action in order to receive points?
Health actions only need to be completed once during the program year in order to receive points under the Your Reward for Health Program. For example, you only need to complete a wellness visit or biometric screening once in order to receive points. Completing a second screening will not earn you additional points unless you are retesting your biometrics in order to meet a target biometric value for the first time. Please note that if you complete a cancer screen (mammogram, cervical cancer, or colon cancer), you may automatically receive points in future program years until you are due for another screening, according to UnitedHealthcare clinical guidelines. For example, if you completed a colonoscopy on November 1, 2005, you will earn points for that screening for the 2010 program year through the 2015 program year provided you remain enrolled in a UnitedHealth Group Medical Plan option and meet the program eligibility requirements. If you completed a colonoscopy on November 1, 2001
