The iPaq should be kept on the charger whenever it is not in use. The iPaq cannot be overcharged. If an iPaq battery is allowed to go completely dead it will lose the Memory Medallion software and any other information you have added. Reloading the software is not difficult, but is inconvenient so we recommend always returning the iPaq to the charger after use.
