How often do I need to change the filters on my Derma Genesis® microdermabrasion machine?
Genesis Biosystems recommends that in older versions of Derma Genesis® Medical Microdermabrasion Systems (those without Plug-n-Peel™), the primary filter be discarded after each bottle of crystal is used. This equates to approximately 10 Derma Genesis® microdermabrasion procedures per filter. The secondary filter should be rotated to the primary filter position immediately after the primary filter has been discarded and the secondary filter should be replaced with a new filter at that time.
