How often do city crews prune trees?
The city is divided into 32 tree maintenance districts. Each district is given a maintenance priority. The greater the number of hazards, the higher the priority for maintenance. Once prioritized, district work is completed which ultimately leads to a cycle of maintenance. Cyclical pruning insures that all street trees receive the attention they require.
