How often do AGI tiltmeters have to be calibrated?

0

One of the strengths of the electrolytic technology incorportated into AGI sensors is that there are no mechanical moving parts, hinges, or masses that degrade over time. We find that the scale factors of most of the instruments returned to AGI for recalibration have not changed from the original factory values. To be safe, we recommend that the that the calibration of our tiltmeters be checked once every year. This can be done simply and inexpensively with our Tiltmeter Calibration Plate and Gage Block Set. (Model 791 and Part No. 229-01 respectively).
